Martin Blank Studios Hotshop is equipped with the following:
  • 1000 lb day tank with Spruce Pine glass
  • large annealers, 7 1/2 ft wide x 38" deep x 42" tall

  • Small glory hole, 14" dia.

Please Note The Following Rental Guidelines:
  • Please talk to Michael Church for scheduling or any questions. (phone# 206-953-7832)
  • Hours available for rental: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00p.m. or 9:00 a.m. - 5:00p.m
  • Cancellation notice must be received 48 hours prior to held date or you will be charged for the reserved time.
  • The first 300 lbs. of glass is included in the rental fee, there is an additional fee of $65.00 per 100 lbs. beyond the initial 300 lbs.
  • O2 available is 1000 lbs, additional use is $15 per 1000 lb
  • Overnight annealing is included in the daily rental fee, there is an additional fee of $35.00 per annealer per 24 hours beyond the initial 24 hours. (if available)
  • On a full hot shop rental day the first annealer will be avalible upon start time. If 2 annealers are needed this needs to be planned on prior to blow day. If we can we will rent you another kiln. $35 per day.
  • The daily rental fee is required upon completion of the hot shop rental day.
  • Any damage in hotshop due to misuse of equipment will be bill to directly to the renter. If you are unsure what this entails please contact Martin Blank or Michael Church.
